Mukhi Delu - Termite Treatment - The regular and periodic maintenance

In May 2022, as part of the regular and periodic maintenance of Mukhi Delu, the building was treated to protect the wooden members from being affected by termites. Since wooden buildings in Dharmaj are constantly faced with the issue of termite infestation and this being a heavily ornamented structure, termite treatments at Mukhi Delu are done twice a year to make sure the rest of the timber is not affected. 

An odourless insecticide was carefully sprayed over all the wooden members. In order to prevent termites from rising from the ground, holes were drilled along the floor at regular intervals and the insecticide was injected into them.
